Last month we flew down to Santa Fe New Mexico to explore the sites. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Bandelier National Monument, a pueblo historic site. The unique feature of the pueblo are the cave dwellings and petroglyphs carved out of the cliff walls.
While on the walk to view the cave dwellings, we came to a set of narrow stairs leading up to the caves. I couldn’t help overhearing a group of “old” people discussing if they should make the climb to view the caves. A couple said they couldn’t climb the stairs, while most of the others decided it was too risky to go up and down the narrow paths and stairs.
Now I understand some people can’t physically go up stairs, that’s why we continue to run so we don’t lose our mobility or freedom to go where we want. But what if you could?
